How the Fly Flies November 17 2011

This article is about flies, and their ability to fly. Flies have to flap their small wings very fast, which is what makes the buzzing noise. Every fly has two flight muscles which enable the wing movement, one type moves the wings down the other type stretches them out. Spalt is what makes flies able to fly. If flies didn’t have spalt they wouldn’t be able to fly, and they would not die. They are testing to see if spalt plays a role in heartbeat regulation.
This article is interesting to me because it’s interesting to see how flies fly. And what helps them fly. This is also interesting because their testing to see if spalt is what helps heartbeat regulation.
